Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care in the ICU
Assess, monitor, and interpret complex patient data and respond promptly
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Administer medications and advanced interventions safely and accurately
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and recovery
Document patient status and care clearly and promptly to support continuity

Qualifications

Active RN license in Louisiana or eligibility for licensure
Experience in Critical Care / ICU settings
BLS required, ACLS preferred
Comfortable and experienced with 12-hour shifts and fast-paced environments
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care nursing principles and best practices
Cardiorespiratory monitoring and ventilator management basics
IV medication administration and titration
Patient assessment, triage, and rapid response protocols
Electronic medical record documentation and care coordination
