Location: Kearney, Nebraska

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 48
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 33-bed ICU with a 1:2-3 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Titrate cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation as needed
- Interpret telemetry strips and monitor patients using GE monitors
- Care for trauma, cardiac, stroke, sepsis, and post-surgical patients
- Collaborate with nursing aides and healthcare support techs
- Float to PCU or MedSurg as needed with similar ratios
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience preferred
- Driver's license and ability to commute outside 50-mile radius
- Willingness to adhere to fingernail policy (no artificial nails in patient care)
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in titrating drips and managing critical care patients
- Proficiency in telemetry interpretation and monitoring
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
