Location: Kearney, Nebraska
Start Date: 08-03-2026
End Date: 12-07-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, rotating every other weekend
Hours per Week: 48
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality critical care to adult patients with diverse diagnoses including trauma, cardiac, stroke, and respiratory distress
- Monitor and interpret telemetry strips, titrate intravenous drips such as cardiac, insulin, and sedation medications
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurse aides and RT to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Float to PCU or MedSurg as needed, maintaining safe patient ratios
Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of ICU experience preferred
- Driver's license required for mileage verification
- Willingness to comply with facility policies including artificial nail prohibition
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in ICU nursing, including titration of drips and telemetry interpretation
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a 1:2-3 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
