Location: Kearney, NE
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 06:30 AM - 06:30 PM and 06:30 PM - 06:30 AM, every other weekend (Saturday-Sunday)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide critical care to a diverse patient population including trauma, cardiac, stroke, and sepsis patients.
- Titrate and manage cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation as needed.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry strips; document and report changes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including RT, nurse aides, and healthcare support tech.
- Float to PCU or MedSurg as needed, maintaining appropriate patient ratios.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Driver's license and reliable transportation
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience preferred
- Ability to pass open-book exam during orientation with 90% score
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in titrating cardiac drips and sedation
- Skilled in telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
- Knowledge of ventilator management and troubleshooting
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ICU environment
