Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 0630-1830 or 1830-0630, rotating every other weekend

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to ICU patients including trauma, cardiac, stroke, and sepsis cases
Titrate cardiac drips, insulin, sedation, and manage ventilators
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips for adult patients
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including respiratory therapy and nursing aides
Float to PCU or MedSurg as needed with appropriate patient ratios

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience preferred
Willingness to work every other weekend and holidays as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in caring for patients on ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
Proficiency in interpreting cardiac rhythms and managing drips
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
