Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity critical care nursing to adult ICU patients with skill and compassion
• Assess, monitor and interpret hemodynamic and ventilatory data to guide interventions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications, titrate infusions, and manage complex therapies safely
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and lead resuscitation efforts when needed
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment plans and recovery expectations
• Document patient status and care interventions accurately and timely to support continuity

Qualifications

• Current RN license (eligible to practice in Hawaii)
• Critical care/ICU clinical experience (prior ICU experience preferred)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Strong assessment skills and comfort with advanced monitoring and ventilator management
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced critical care environment

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation
• Experience with mechanical ventilation and respiratory management
• Skilled at medication administration, titration and IV infusion management
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and concise clinical documentation
• Ability to prioritize, triage and manage multiple high-acuity patients safely
