Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive critical care to a diverse mix of ICU patients including MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU
• Titrate critical drips such as pressors, sedation, paralytics, antiarrhythmics, heparin, and insulin
• Float between multiple facilities within Zone 1 (Colorado Springs area) as needed
• Interpret cardiac telemetry and manage ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adapt quickly to different unit environments and patient populations

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required (3+ years if first-time traveler)
• Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
• Comfortable with floating to various acuity levels (ICU, PCU, stepdown, med-surg tele)
• Previous travel experience preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in critical care and titration of complex drips
• Strong ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
• Familiarity with ventilator management and respiratory support devices
• Excellent communication and adaptability in fast-paced environments
• Commitment to safety and adherence to protocols
