Registered Nurse - ICU Float
Location: Centennial, Colorado
Start Date: 07-13-2026
End Date: 10-12-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), including weekends and holidays
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional critical care to patients in a variety of ICU settings including MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU
- Titrate critical drips and manage complex medications such as pressors, sedation, and antiarrhythmics
- Interpret telemetry strips and respond to changes in patient condition
- Float across multiple facilities within Zone 3 (Denver area) to fill staffing needs
- Collaborate with charge nurses and respiratory therapists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Adapt to fast-paced environments and handle high-acuity patients including those on CRRT, IABP, or Impella
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required; 3+ years for first-time travelers
- Prior travel experience preferred
- Comfortable titrating all critical drips and managing ventilators
- Willingness to float within a 60-mile zone and across different facilities
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
Knowledge & Skills
- ICU nursing and critical care expertise
- Drip titration and telemetry interpretation
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Epic electronic medical record proficiency
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
