Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive critical care to a diverse patient population in ICU settings including MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU
• Titrate and manage critical drips such as pressors, sedatives, paralytics, and antiarrhythmics
• Interpret and respond to telemetry readings independently
• Float to multiple facilities within Zone 3 (Denver area) as needed, adapting quickly to different unit environments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
• Assist with respiratory needs and troubleshooting equipment like vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow therapy

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required; 3+ years if this is your first travel assignment
• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency in Epic electronic health record system
• Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
• Ability to float within a 60-mile radius across multiple facilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in critical care nursing including hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
• Strong titration skills for a wide range of critical drips
• Telemetry interpretation without monitor tech support
• Flexibility and adaptability to float to different units and facilities on short notice
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment
