Location: Council Bluffs, Iowa
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every third weekend and holiday (4th of July)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide critical care to medical ICU patients with diagnoses such as sepsis, respiratory failure, stroke, and myocardial infarction
- Manage titratable drips including vasopressors and sedation
- Care for patients on ventilators and BiPAP
- Collaborate with hospitalists and intensivists 24/7
- Float to PCU as needed
- Perform and verify telemetry monitoring
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Iowa or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
- PALS and TNCC preferred
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- Previous travel experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Experience with drips (vasopressors, sedation), vents, and bipaps
- Knowledge of DKA, STEMI, stroke, AFib RVR, COVID, COPD exacerbation, PE
- Ability to titrate drips
- Proficiency in reading telemetry strips
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
