Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 5x8's or 4x10's (discuss in interview), plus weekly weeknight call (1-2 nights) and weekend call (every 3 weekends)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform circulating and teching duties for advanced GI procedures including ERCP, EUS, EMR/ESD, enteroscopy, and endolumenal surgery
Set up and operate specialized equipment like ultrasound processors, electrocautery, balloon catheters, and endoscopic suturing devices
Assist physicians with Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) biopsies, stent placements, and complex polyp removals
Ensure meticulous high-level disinfection and reprocessing of complex endoscopes per SGNA and manufacturer standards
Participate in on-call rotations to provide timely care for emergent GI cases

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska
Experience in GI Lab or Endoscopy setting preferred
Strong circulating and teching skills for advanced endoscopic procedures
Ability to pass open-book skills exam with 90% during orientation
Commitment to adhering to fingernail policy (no artificial nails in patient care areas)

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in ERCP, EUS, EMR/ESD, enteroscopy, and endolumenal surgery
Proficiency in scope reprocessing and infection control standards
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Ability to adapt to varying shift schedules and call rotations
