Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays, schedule provided 4 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $93 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns in a Family Birthing Center setting
Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vitals, titrating Pitocin and other drips as needed
Assist with deliveries, including twin births and emergency C-sections
Care for mother-baby couplets postpartum and stabilize newborns in the NICU
Collaborate with OB providers, charge nurses, and support staff to ensure safe outcomes
Educate patients and families on newborn care and postpartum recovery

Qualifications

Active RN license in California
Minimum 1 year of recent LDRP experience (3 years preferred)
Comfortable with NRP at delivery and attending high-risk deliveries
Ability to titrate medications and manage drips independently
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Advanced fetal monitoring and interpretation (AWHONN Adv EFM)
Labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn stabilization
OR circulating experience for C-sections
Proficiency with GE fetal monitors and Fetalink system
ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications
