Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM; every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care across multiple facilities within Zone 1
Float to Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Medical Center, St. Francis InterQuest, St. Mary Corwin, and St. Thomas More as needed
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for a diverse range of emergency conditions including trauma, stroke, cardiac emergencies, and more
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility protocols and standards
Adapt quickly to varying unit sizes, patient volumes, and staffing needs

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
Minimum 1 year of recent ER experience preferred
Willingness to float within a 60-mile zone
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend and holiday

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to manage high-acuity patients and multiple priorities
Comfort with telemetry monitoring and point-of-care testing
