Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location: Red Bluff, California

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
Assess, triage, and treat patients with a wide range of conditions including stroke, abdominal pain, and orthopedic injuries
Collaborate with physicians, midlevels, and a dedicated support team to deliver high-quality care
Monitor telemetry strips and manage ventilators as needed
Participate in trauma care for level III trauma patients and above

Qualifications

3-5 years of recent Emergency Room experience required
Active RN license in California
ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
Experience with Cerner (First Net) EMR preferred
Level III trauma experience or above preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in emergency and trauma care
Strong triage and assessment skills
Ability to handle high patient volumes (100+ visits per day)
Comfortable with pediatric patients (500-600 per month)
Proficient in telemetry monitoring and ventilator management
