Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Quickly triage and assess patients to prioritize life-saving interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practitioners, and the ED team to create and execute care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document care accurately
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes with critical thinking and calm action
• Communicate clearly with patients and families, offering education and emotional support
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with clinical protocols

Qualifications

• Current RN license in New Hampshire or eligibility for licensure
• Registered Nurse with Emergency Department experience (posting indicates ED specialty)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred or supported
• Strong clinical assessment and triage skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
• Willingness to participate in required orientation and facility onboarding

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of emergency nursing practices, triage, and rapid assessment
• Familiarity with ED equipment, medication administration, and documentation systems
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing patient needs
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with diverse patients and multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and evidence-based care
