Location: Arvada, CO

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Flexible self-scheduling, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, one summer and one winter holiday off

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
Manage patients independently in a fast-paced urgent care setting
Perform triage, assessments, and interventions for conditions like chest pain, respiratory issues, and minor traumas
Administer medications, start IVs, and manage drips as needed
Collaborate with a dedicated ED attending and support team
Operate and troubleshoot respiratory equipment including vents, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen
Perform point-of-care lab testing and EKG interpretation

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS certifications required
Ability to be self-directed and manage patients independently
Minimum 1 year of recent ER/urgent care experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficient in telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation (Phillips monitors)
Comfortable with respiratory equipment (vents, CPAP, high-flow)
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
