Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients in the ED/ER
- Assess, triage, and prioritize acute presentations with sound clinical judgment
- Initiate and manage appropriate interventions and nursing plans
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the care team to expedite patient care
- Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes thoroughly and accurately
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement and safety initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with eligibility to practice in New Hampshire
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- Previous Emergency Department or acute care experience preferred
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

- IV therapy, medication administration, and acute care interventions
- Patient and family education with clear communication
- Electronic medical record documentation basics
- Team collaboration and interdisciplinary communication
