Location: Long Beach, California

Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Rotating shifts with call and weekend rotation, 40 hours per week
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $90 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert circulating support during CABG, AVR, MVR, and Thoracotomy procedures
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care in the CVOR
- Respond to call within 30 minutes to support life-saving cardiac cases
- Float within the OR to other specialties as needed while maintaining excellence
- Mentor new team members during orientation and help them feel at home
Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- CVOR experience preferred
- Cerner and Surginet EMR experience a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of cardiac surgical procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced OR environment
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Comfortable with call rotation and weekend coverage
