Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating shifts, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, negotiable schedule
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert nursing care during complex open heart and endovascular procedures
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in the CVOR
- Scrub in to assist with holding the heart and closing the chest when needed
- Float to General OR when CVOR cases are not scheduled
- Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR system
- Respond to call within 30 minutes and utilize on-site call room when needed
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Open Heart experience and/or Endovascular experience required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular operating room procedures
- Experience with open heart, TAVR, thoracic, and endovascular cases
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to float within Zone 1 facilities as needed
