Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert care to high-acuity cardiac surgery patients including CABG, TAVR, and lung transplant recoveries
- Monitor and manage advanced life-support devices such as IABP, ECMO, and CRRT
- Collaborate with intensivists and the multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
- Float to other ICUs and Telemetry units when needed, showcasing your versatility and adaptability
- Maintain sterile technique during bedside procedures including bronchoscopies and Swan-Ganz catheter placements
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience with Level I Trauma background
- CVICU experience strongly preferred
- CCRN certification a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong IV skills and comfort managing multiple drips
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR and Phillips telemetry
- Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam on the first or second attempt
- Competence in sterile technique for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
- Willingness to float between ICUs and Telemetry units
