Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with every other weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $82 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Coordinate comprehensive care for patients across all hospital areas
Complete initial assessments, utilization reviews, and discharge planning
Navigate complex payer systems including uninsured and homeless populations
Apply Interqual criteria to ensure appropriate care levels
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless transitions of care
Reprioritize daily tasks to meet patient and facility needs

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in California
Current BLS certification
Recent Dignity Health experience in California is required
Case Management or Utilization Review experience preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in utilization review and discharge planning
Proficiency with Interqual and Cerner systems
Ability to manage a caseload of 15-20 patients per day
Effective collaboration and communication
Adaptability to reprioritize throughout the day
