Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered behavioral health nursing care
Perform timely assessments and monitor patients for safety and stability
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
Use therapeutic communication to de-escalate crises and support recovery
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
Maintain clear, professional documentation and handoffs to ensure continuity

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or eligibility to obtain one
Experience or interest in behavioral health and patient care
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain)
Strong clinical judgment, crisis management skills, and therapeutic communication
Ability to pass required background checks and facility onboarding

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and mental health screening
Crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
Medication administration and documentation best practices
Collaborative teamwork and clear clinical communication
Familiarity with electronic health record documentation
