Location: Phoenix, AZ

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), with rotating weekends (4 weekend shifts in 4 weeks)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Use your clinical expertise to ensure patients are placed in the right unit for their care.
Leverage TeleTracking and Cerner to manage bed assignments across multiple hospitals.
Communicate with charge nurses and leadership to optimize patient flow.
Apply critical thinking to evaluate bed requests and recommend alternatives when needed.
Work with multiple screens and applications to coordinate placement efficiently.
No direct patient care, but your decisions impact patient safety and outcomes.

Qualifications

Must have recent acute care experience (2 years preferred)
Experience with TeleTracking and Cerner required
Strong computer skills, including Zoom and Google applications
Ability to multitask and excellent customer service skills
Knowledge of different hospital departments and units (e.g., MedSurg vs Tele)
Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
