Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, weekends as needed

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nutritional care to patients across telemetry, med/surg, general medical, and medical ICU units
Assess patient nutritional needs and develop personalized care plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on therapeutic diets and nutrition management
Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting plans as needed

Qualifications

Minimum one year of experience as a Registered Dietitian required
Acute care hospital experience highly preferred
Active Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Cerner EMR system
Expertise in clinical nutrition for low to moderate acuity patients
Ability to cover multiple units and adapt to varying patient needs
