Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality outpatient physical therapy care focused on orthopedic conditions and post-operative rehabilitation
• Perform thorough musculoskeletal evaluations and fall risk assessments to create individualized treatment plans
• Manage and build your caseload through screening and case management activities
• Provide evidence-based interventions for conditions such as total joint replacement, rotator cuff repair, ACL/meniscus injuries, fractures, back pain and more
• Document care accurately and efficiently in NextGen EHR to support continuity and billing
• Communicate progress and collaborate with patients, families and the care team to optimize outcomes
• Meet productivity expectations while maintaining patient-centered care and clinical reasoning
• Participate in onboarding, compliance, and assignment procedures as managed through ShiftWise Flex

Qualifications

• 1+ years of outpatient physical therapy experience preferred
• Experience treating orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions (post-op joint care, tendon/ligament injuries, back pain, fractures, osteoarthritis, etc.)
• Comfort working with adolescent, adult and geriatric patient populations
• Familiarity with screening/building caseload and case management practices
• Experience using NextGen or similar EHR systems is a plus
• Current professional PT license or eligibility to obtain licensure per state requirements
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage ~10–11 visits/day while maintaining quality care

Knowledge & Skills

• Outpatient Physical Therapy and Orthopedic Physical Therapy
• Musculoskeletal evaluation and assessment
• Fall risk assessment and prevention strategies
• Post-operative rehabilitation (total joint replacement, rotator cuff repair, ACL/meniscus, etc.)
• Management of back pain, disc herniation, stenosis, SI joint dysfunction, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis
• Treatment of fractures and stress fractures
• Case management and caseload screening/building
• Proficiency with NextGen EHR or similar documentation systems
• Ability to meet productivity expectations while delivering patient-centered care
