Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to identify impairments, functional limitations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions that restore mobility and reduce pain
• Progress patients toward measurable goals and adjust plans as outcomes evolve
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions and plan of care accurately and timely in the clinic’s EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other rehab staff to ensure coordinated patient care
• Participate in quality improvement and contribute to a positive clinic culture

Qualifications

• Valid Florida Physical Therapist license required (or eligible to obtain prior to start)
• DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy) preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or ability to obtain quickly
• Outpatient clinical experience preferred but not required — enthusiasm and solid assessment skills matter
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; new graduates considered

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in musculoskeletal evaluation and therapeutic exercise prescription
• Skilled in gait training, manual therapy concepts and functional mobility training
• Comfortable with outpatient documentation and electronic medical records
• Strong clinical reasoning, time management, and patient education abilities
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
