Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care and assessment for patients with respiratory insufficiencies
• Manage and titrate mechanical ventilation and invasive/noninvasive support including CPAP and BiPAP
• Perform ABG analysis and interpret results to guide therapy decisions
• Operate and troubleshoot ventilators such as Servo I, Hamilton, V60, and Astral
• Deliver nebulizer therapy, CPT, and other respiratory procedures safely and effectively
• Document patient care accurately in the Meditech EMR and communicate changes to the care team
• Respond rapidly to respiratory emergencies and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Contribute to a positive, team-first culture and participate in unit quality and safety initiatives

Qualifications

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
• BLS, ACLS, NRP required
• Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
• Trauma experience preferred and will be considered first

Knowledge & Skills

• Mechanical ventilation and ventilator management
• ABG collection and interpretation
• CPAP and BiPAP setup and troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with Servo I, Hamilton, V60, Astral ventilators
• Nebulizer therapy, CPT, and other respiratory procedures
• Documentation and workflow in Meditech EMR
• Strong teamwork, critical thinking, and patient-focused care
