Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in the Rio Rancho Center
• Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate efficient patient care
• Document patient progress and care activities clearly in the medical record
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge plans
• Act promptly in emergencies and escalate concerns to the care team as needed

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license in New Mexico or eligibility for state licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS or PALS preferred where applicable
• Travel nurse experience or prior acute care experience preferred
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
• Medication administration and IV therapy competence
• Accurate clinical documentation and charting
• Infection control and safety best practices
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
• Collaborative teamwork and effective handoff communication
