Location: Rio Rancho, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (varies days), 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, promoting dignity and comfort
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
Monitor and document vital signs and resident condition changes accurately
Support safe mobility and fall prevention through attentive assistance
Communicate effectively with nurses and the interdisciplinary care team
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Offer emotional support and engage residents in meaningful interactions

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in New Mexico (valid and in good standing)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required
Comfortable working night shifts and flexible, per diem schedules
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

High School Diploma or GED
Completion of an accredited CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and resident safety practices
Vital signs measurement and timely documentation
Infection control and proper use of PPE
Observation skills to notice and report changes in condition
Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
Compassionate bedside manner and patient advocacy
