Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including hygiene, feeding, and mobility assistance
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff to keep care plans current
• Assist with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
• Maintain accurate documentation of care, vitals, and patient interactions
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver consistent, high-quality care
• Follow infection control protocols and facility policies to keep patients and staff safe

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (CNA or T-CNA) in good standing
• Experience working overnight or long shift schedules is a plus
• Ability to pass facility onboarding requirements and background checks
• Comfortable with flexible scheduling and PRN block assignments
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completed certified nursing assistant training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in basic patient care, transfers, and safe lifting techniques
• Knowledge of infection control practices and vital sign measurement
• Ability to follow care plans and document observations clearly
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when needed
• Team-oriented with a focus on empathy and respect for residents
