Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate the Signa Artist 1.5T MRI scanner to acquire high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the exam
• Document exams accurately using Meditech and Centricity PACs systems
• Collaborate with technologists, unit staff, and patient transport to deliver smooth patient flow
• Adhere to unit guidelines, dress code (black scrubs), and hospital policies to maintain a professional environment
• Participate in the on-call rotation and respond promptly when scheduled

Qualifications

• Current MRI license (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience
• Familiarity with Signa Artist 1.5T equipment
• Experience with Meditech and Centricity PACs or similar documentation systems
• Strong patient care skills and ability to work well within a small MRI team

Knowledge & Skills

• Standard MRI skills and safety practices
• Proficiency with Signa Artist 1.5T MRI operations
• Competence using Meditech and Centricity PACs for documentation and image workflow
• Patient positioning, protocol selection, and image optimization
• Clear communication and teamwork in a busy hospital setting
