Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based orthopedic interventions to maximize patient function and recovery
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nursing staff, and ancillary team members for coordinated care
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and recovery goals
• Document accurately and timely to ensure continuity of care and meet facility standards
• Contribute to a positive clinic culture by mentoring aides and supporting team workflows

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Colorado or able to obtain licensure prior to start
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience or interest in orthopedic caseloads; comfortable covering post-op patients
• Strong clinical reasoning, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centered approach
• Reliable, punctual, and able to participate in occasional Saturday coverage

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred or Bachelor/Master in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in orthopedic assessment and manual therapy techniques
• Proficient in therapeutic exercise prescription and progression
• Familiarity with postoperative protocols and mobility/functional training
• Comfortable using electronic medical records for documentation
• Strong patient education and motivational skills to drive outcomes
