Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM - 1:00 AM; 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM; 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM; 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM; 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM; Weekend coverage

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead the pediatric emergency department by providing expert care to children in critical situations
Supervise APPs and residents, ensuring high-quality patient management
Write admission orders and coordinate transitions to inpatient care
Respond promptly to house codes and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
Manage fast track patients, reducing wait times and improving flow
Collaborate with transport teams to facilitate timely patient transfers
Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR
Participate in trauma response and emergency protocols

Qualifications

Board certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
PALS, ATLS, and BLS certification
Active Ohio medical license (or willingness to obtain)
Experience with EPIC EMR
Strong leadership and teaching skills
Ability to work varied shifts including nights and weekends
