Roles & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans using the Clinical Practice Model
• Demonstrate clinical expertise through physiological, psychosocial, and spiritual assessments for optimal outcomes
• Lead by sharing knowledge, serving as a clinical resource, and role modeling excellence
• Communicate effectively using SBAR and interdisciplinary approaches for seamless teamwork
• Enhance productivity with superior time management to boost overall team performance
• Pursue lifelong learning through certifications, education, and literature review

Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN license required at time of submission
• BLS (AHA) certification
• 2+ years of straight Med Surg experience - no float, SDU, or TELE
• Level II or I Trauma level experience
• Recent skills checklist for RN specialties
• Travel experience preferred

Education

• RN licensure with ongoing commitment to lifelong learning through certification and higher education

Knowledge & Skills

• Med Surg nursing with diverse patient populations including surgery, trauma, and stroke care
• Patient-centered care focused on safety, quality, and positive outcomes
• Effective communication and interdisciplinary teamwork
• Time management and leadership in fast-paced environments
