Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night 3x12-Hour, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend may exceed to meet unit needs

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to neonates and infants including prematurity, RDS, and feeders and growers
Manage advanced respiratory support like Bubble CPAP, high frequency ventilation, oscillators, and ventilator modes
Perform central line care, blood draws, PICC lines, IV therapy, ROP exams, spinal taps, and intubations
Titrate medications such as dopamine using smart pumps, feeding pumps, isolettes, and warmers
Collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver exceptional outcomes in a busy Level III NICU

Qualifications

Active RN license
BCLS, NRP, PALS certifications required
2 years of experience with at least 1 year in NICU specialty
Proficiency in required NICU skills including respiratory support and central line management

Education

RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in Bubble CPAP, High Frequency Ventilation, Oscillators, and Ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP)
Skilled in IV therapy, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, and PICC Lines
Familiarity with special procedures like ROP exams, spinal taps, intubations, and titrating Dopamine
