Candidate Pay Rate: $78 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform specialized nuclear medicine procedures like bone scans, PET scans, and HIDA scans to deliver precise diagnostics
Safely handle and administer radioactive materials while prioritizing patient safety
Start and maintain IVs ensuring smooth patient experiences
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including radiology and rapid response for optimal care
Conduct thyroid studies, uptake scans, and ventilation/perfusion scans with expert precision

Qualifications

ARRT(N), ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB, CNMT, or NMTCB certification
At least 2 years of nuclear medicine experience
Proficiency with Epic charting system preferred
Experience in hospital settings
Comfortable with call and floating to nearby outpatient department

Education

Completion of accredited nuclear medicine technology program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in isolation precautions, PPE, and radioactive material handling
Skilled in starting and maintaining IVs
Familiarity with GE and Siemens equipment
Knowledge of procedures including 3-phase bone scans, gastric emptying, myocardial studies, and lung scans
