Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 3x12 Night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, weekends required per hospital scheduling procedures

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Masterfully manage labor and delivery for high-risk patients, making a real difference in precious moments
Expertly monitor fetal heart rates and respond to abnormalities with precision and care
Circulate confidently for C-sections and assist with vaginal deliveries
Administer critical medications like magnesium sulfate and antihypertensives
Provide compassionate antepartum care using external fetal monitoring

Qualifications

Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate required (AWHONN Advanced preferred)
Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience in large hospital settings - no first-time travelers
Ability to circulate for C-sections is a must
Seasoned travel experience highly valued

Education

RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

Fetal monitoring including recognition of abnormal patterns
Labor and delivery management for high-risk cases
Medication administration for antihypertensives, insulin drips, and magnesium sulfate
Procedures like cervical cerclage, D&C, and high-risk deliveries
