Roles & Responsibilities

Master decontamination and high-level disinfection to ensure top safety standards
Assemble sets and trays with precision for seamless surgical success
Execute sterilization processes using steam, biological, and chemical indicators flawlessly
Prepare case carts and select wrapping materials like a pro
Handle specialty equipment processing for OR specialties including orthopedics and urology
Document equipment meticulously to maintain peak operational excellence

Qualifications

At least 1 year of sterile processing experience, with preference for 2 years
CBSPD or CRCST certification required
Familiarity with EPIC charting system
First-time travelers welcome, but locals within 50 miles not eligible

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in decontamination, disinfection, and use of washers/sterilizers
Skilled in case cart preparation and sterilization wrapping
Proficient with biological and chemical indicators plus steam sterilization monitoring
Knowledge of processing specialty equipment for ENT, OB/GYN, orthopedics, plastics, and urology
