Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Tuesday 7:45 AM - 8:15 PM, Wednesday 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Friday 7:45 AM - 8:15 PM, Saturday 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM (2x12hr + 2x8hr, off Sun, Mon, Thurs)

Hours per Week: 56

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Room patients with care and efficiency, capturing vital signs, EKGs, and vision tests
Assist providers during procedures like nebulizer treatments, injections, and sterile setups
Master specimen collection from venipuncture to throat swabs, ensuring accuracy every time
Manage wound care, suture removal, and dressing changes to promote quick recoveries
Handle phone triage, lab reviews, and chart prep to keep the clinic humming smoothly

Qualifications

Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) certification required - no MA-R, MA-P, or MA-HT
6+ months experience in adult/pediatric outpatient clinics
Previous travel experience required
BLS certification
Reliable personal transportation essential

Education

Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) certification

Knowledge & Skills

EPIC charting expertise to navigate workflows seamlessly
Skilled in injections, immunizations, and blood glucose testing
Proficient with EKG/ECG, pulse oximetry, and vision screening
Experienced in ear lavage, splinting, and autoclaving
Strong in telephone triage, follow-up calls, and supply stocking
