Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients nutritional status and deliver tailored medical nutrition therapy to optimize health outcomes
• Develop and implement personalized nutritional care plans that make a real difference in patient lives
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and pharmacy teams to ensure seamless patient care
• Educate patients, families, and staff on nutrition management for lasting impact
• Monitor foodservice operations and integrate nutrition into quality improvement programs
• Document care thoroughly in EPIC while managing 8-10 patients daily with precision

Qualifications

• RD/RDN certification required
• 1 year of experience required, 2-3 years preferred
• State license preferred
• EPIC documentation experience
• Comfortable in fast-paced outpatient clinics with occasional inpatient coverage

Education

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in cancer nutrition especially lung, GI, and breast diagnoses
• Proficient in enteral nutrition, TPN, and fluid balance management
• Skilled in diabetes, GI disorders like Crohns and IBS, and renal disease
• Strong in nutrition-focused physical exams and refeeding syndrome prevention
• Knowledge of food-drug interactions, aspiration safety, and therapeutic diets
