Shift Type: Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 4x12 available upon request

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate labor and delivery care with 1:3 ratios that let you focus on patients
Monitor fetal heart rates and perform triage for obstetrical patients to ensure safe outcomes
Circulate for C-sections and conduct sterile vaginal exams with precision and confidence
Manage postpartum care in a busy LDRP unit handling 200-300 births monthly
Administer critical medications like magnesium sulfate and insulin drips with expert skill
Maintain central lines and utilize IUPC for optimal antepartum support

Qualifications

2+ years of labor and delivery plus postpartum experience (hard requirement!)
Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
Preferred: AWHONN Advanced and precepting experience
Seasoned travel experience to thrive in dynamic settings
Epic charting proficiency for seamless documentation

Education

RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in high-risk antepartum care and labor management
Skilled in fetal monitoring, IUPC placement, and calibration
Proficient with IV therapy, phlebotomy, and isolation precautions
Comfortable with anticoagulants, antihypertensives, and magnesium sulfate therapy
