Roles & Responsibilities

Accurately collect and document vital patient information to keep records spot-on
Manage specimen collection and Point of Care Testing with precision
Administer immunizations and injections as ordered to support patient health
Transport patients smoothly within the facility
Assist providers during exams, treatments, and minor procedures
Observe and report patient changes promptly to ensure top-notch care
Maintain smooth clinic flow while juggling multiple duties
Provide cross-coverage to keep everything running efficiently

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) OR EMT III Current AK Certification OR Current AK Paramedic Certification OR Nursing Degree from an accredited institution
Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred

Education

High school diploma or GED required
Nursing Degree from an accredited institution may substitute for other certifications

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of clinic procedures and medical terminology
Strong computer application skills for EMR systems
Ability to operate medical equipment like blood pressure cuffs and EKG machines
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Interpersonal skills to thrive in a multidisciplinary team
Ability to recognize and respond in emergency situations
