Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patients’ functional abilities and needs using evidence-based evaluations
Develop individualized treatment plans focused on meaningful daily activities
Implement therapeutic interventions to improve independence in ADLs
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
Document progress clearly and timely in the medical record
Educate patients and families to support ongoing recovery and safety

Qualifications

Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in California or eligible for licensure
Good clinical judgment and experience in outpatient/rehabilitation settings
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to complete documentation and follow facility protocols

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (entry-level OT degree required)

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical assessment of functional performance and ADLs
Care planning and goal-setting tailored to patient priorities
Therapeutic techniques for upper extremity, cognition, and ADL retraining
Proficient documentation and charting practices
Comfort working with a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team
