Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist MRI technologists in preparing patients and equipment for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
• Work collaboratively with another tech or aide — you will never work solo
• Support patient flow and throughput for approximately 9 patients per shift
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and assist with Meditech Expanse charting as needed
• Follow facility policies for call coverage and after-hours support
• Participate in required orientation and comply with scheduling and submission processes

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years current MRI experience (required)
• Hands-on experience with GE HDXT systems (16.0 and 23.0) (required)
• Active American Heart Association BLS (AHA) certification (required)
• Meditech Expanse experience is strongly preferred
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and take call as needed
• Must have reliable personal vehicle for travel to the facility
• Traveler applicants must include permanent address in profile and may not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Provide work history, skills checklist (MRI pertinent to position), and a supervisory signed reference from within the past two years

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) workflow and patient safety
• Proficiency on GE HDXT MRI platforms (16.0 and 23.0)
• Comfortable using Meditech Expanse or similar EMR systems
• Strong patient communication and positioning skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a two-person MRI team
• Dependable with call responsiveness and professional voicemail setup
