Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers in delivering exceptional ambulatory care
- Prepare patients for exams and support clinical procedures
- Manage patient flow to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to a healing environment
- Collaborate with the Shriners team to impact young lives positively
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification or equivalent
- Experience in ambulatory or outpatient settings preferred
- Current BLS certification
- Strong patient-centered approach and teamwork skills
Education
- Completion of accredited Medical Assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient intake and vitals monitoring
- Clinical procedures and phlebotomy basics
- Electronic health records navigation
- Excellent communication with patients and families
- Sterile technique and infection control
