Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform mammographic procedures for all patient types efficiently and compassionately as prescribed by physicians
• Conduct daily quality control checks and scheduled equipment tests to meet ACR and state regulations
• Assist with equipment handling, report needed repairs, and support optimal equipment operation
• Ensure accurate clerical procedures for each patient including charge processing, image interpretation workflow support, report generation, and permanent medical record filing
• Maintain radiation safety, hospital safety protocols, and universal precautions at all times
• Foster a professional, welcoming departmental environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues
• Adhere to safety practices, report hazards or accidents, and support routine equipment maintenance

Qualifications

• Mammography experience required
• ARRT and ARRT(M) certified (required; documentation requested)
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Technology (required)
• Willingness/ability to be in process of relocating to New Hampshire (serious inquiries only)
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate cases with coworkers

Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Technology

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in mammographic procedures and breast imaging techniques
• Proficient in radiologic technology best practices
• Experience with quality control and ACR compliance
• Knowledgeable about radiation safety protocols
• Comfortable with clerical workflows, report generation, and medical record filing
• Good equipment handling and troubleshooting awareness
• Patient-centered communication and bedside manner
• Leadership experience a plus for Lead position
