Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams — both contrast and non-contrast — with precision and patient-centered care
• Operate and optimize GE MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Document procedures, findings, and patient information accurately in Cerner EMR
• Prepare patients for imaging: explain procedures, ensure safety screening, and position them correctly
• Collaborate with radiologists and the imaging team to support timely, accurate diagnoses
• Maintain equipment and follow unit guidelines and infection control policies
• Provide compassionate care while managing throughput during busy day shifts and rotating weekends

Qualifications

• MRI registered (required)
• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience
• Required MRI certification
• Breast MRI experience (preferred)
• Experience with GE MRI systems and Cerner EMR highly desirable
• Willingness to work rotating weekends as scheduled

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in MRI contrast and non-contrast procedures
• Hands-on experience with GE MRI equipment
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical record system
• Strong patient positioning and safety protocol knowledge
• Clear communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced imaging unit
