Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients in accordance with facility policies
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
- Monitor patients’ conditions and communicate changes promptly to the care team
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient education to support recovery
- Participate in orientation and unit training to maintain high-quality patient care
Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — state licensure required (New Hampshire licensure or eligibility preferred)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain during orientation)
- Clinical experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Ability to pass standard background and health screening requirements
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN/LVN diploma or certificate)
Knowledge & Skills
- Fundamental nursing assessment and documentation skills
- Medication administration and basic IV/monitoring familiarity
- Comfortable with electronic health record systems
- Ability to prioritize and manage time during busy 12+ hour shifts
- Patient-focused approach and solid clinical judgment
