Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside nursing care to patients as an LPN
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient status, and changes in condition
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient record
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and safe patient transfers
- Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory policies to protect patients and staff
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Georgia (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Comfortable working 12.5-hour shift schedules
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills
- Previous experience in acute care, long-term care, or similar settings preferred
Education
- Practical Nursing diploma or completion of an accredited LPN program
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and basic clinical procedures
- Performing and interpreting routine vital signs and patient assessments
- Wound care and basic dressing changes
- Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation skills
- Infection control and safety best practices
- Patient and family education with clear, compassionate communication
- Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
