Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care at the bedside as an LPN
- Administer medications and treatments according to facility policy and care plans
- Monitor and document patient status, vital signs, and changes in condition
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, coordinated care
- Assist with activities of daily living and support patient comfort and dignity
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and care team members to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active LPN license (Georgia license or ability to obtain Georgia licensure)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain upon hire)
- Clinical experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred
- Strong patient assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN / Practical Nursing program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic nursing principles and medication administration
- Skill in patient assessment, vital sign monitoring, and charting
- Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced clinical environments
- Compassionate patient interaction and clear communication skills
